Our Mission

Since 1966 we engineer thermal‑spray solutions that extend component life and lower total cost. By restoring and optimizing parts we shorten process chains, avoid primary manufacturing steps, and reduce transport distances. Result: less material and energy, faster turnaround, longer service life.

We align operations and engineering to measurable targets for quality, flexibility, and precision. As a family‑owned company in Bavaria, we invest in apprenticeships, upskilling, and local jobs. Continuous improvement and practical innovation guide our work.

History

1966

1966

Joachim Reimann begins contract manufacturing in the old school building.
At the time, he worked as a sales representative for ceramic manufacturers and moved with his family to Bavaria.
Procurement of the first machines.

1972

Relocation to a new production hall in Hofkirchen‑Garham

1977

Important step toward an in‑house coating shop by procuring the first APS (plasma) system.

1982

Son Enno Reimann studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich and successfully graduated.
After many years in the family business, he took over leadership.

1995

Expansion of the site with an additional production hall due to strong development.

2013

Acquisition of Joachim Reimann Verschleißschutz GmbH by Dipl.‑Ing. Konstantin Frei.
Renaming to Reimann Industrietechnik GmbH.
Renovation of the production hall and office space.
Modernization of the machinery.

2014

First appearance at WIRE 2014, the global trade fair for the wire and cable industry.

2015

Continuous growth into new markets: exports to Italy, Sweden, Poland, Belarus, Romania, Spain, and the United States.

2016

Contribution to environmental protection by investing in a new extraction system.
Major celebration of the 50th anniversary of Reimann Industrietechnik GmbH

2017

Expansion of company capacity by building a new hall for storage and production
Attendance at the trade fair “Metalloobrabotka 2017”
Membership in GTS – Gemeinschaft Thermisches Spritzen e.V.

2019

Procurement of new coating systems.
Introduction of detonation‑spray coatings that combine positive properties of plasma and HVOF spraying.

New build and relocation to the Passau plant.
Expansion of the machinery and coating systems.
Market entry with coating equipment.
