Developed and assembled in-house

Every Heron is built in-house, from design to final assembly. Our engineers assemble, wire and calibrate each printer by hand.

This gives us full control over quality and workmanship and allows us to adapt each system to your application.

Heron Starter Series

Heron Starter Series

2 models

The Starter Series is the entry point into high-temperature manufacturing. Its two models produce functional components from engineering plastics and require little floor space.

Heron Starter

The HT Series is the most versatile line and works with two independent extruders (IDEX). Its four models produce functional prototypes as well as large components for mechanical engineering, automotive and toolmaking.

Heron BIG Series

3 models

The BIG Series prints large-format components with a build volume of up to 1000 × 1000 × 1000 mm. Its tempering system heat-treats the component while it is being printed, so a chamber temperature of 80 °C is sufficient.

The A2-B is the most compact model in the BIG Series and shares its build volume with the A2-HT.

Active heated chamber

The active heated chamber heats the entire build volume evenly. This ensures stable results and flat surfaces.

Powerful extruder

The water-cooled extruder reaches up to 500 °C. It processes materials from standard polymers to engineering plastics.

Rack and pinion drive

The rack and pinion drive works without belt stretch and is almost wear-free. This increases geometric accuracy.

High-temperature print bed

The large, strongly heated print bed ensures reliable adhesion, even with demanding materials.

Integrated filament dryer

The integrated dryer keeps the filament dry during printing. The spool is secured against unwinding at three points.

Klipper firmware

The Klipper firmware compensates for vibrations through input shaping. The printer therefore positions precisely even at high speeds.

IDEX technology

Two independent extruders produce two components at the same time in duplication or mirror mode.

Highly filled filaments

The Heron also reliably processes fibre-reinforced materials with up to 30 % carbon or glass fibre content. This produces stiff, dimensionally stable components.
