Do you have any questions?
ContactThe right material for your component.
Our focus is on high-performance plastics such as PEEK, PEI and PPS: materials for components that permanently withstand heat, chemicals and mechanical stress. In addition, we process the common engineering and standard plastics.
Filter by material class, application and service temperature. For each material you will find technical guide values, and you can send an enquiry for your component directly.

All material values are typical guide values from literature and manufacturer data for FDM filaments and serve as orientation. Actual values depend on manufacturer, formulation, fibre content, printing parameters and conditioning. Service temperature, profile and standards notes are assessments at class level. For design purposes we consult the data sheet of the specific material together with you.
High-performance plastics
Our core competence: materials such as PEEK, PEKK, PEI and PPS for continuous service temperatures up to 250 °C, high chemical resistance and demanding requirements in aviation, medical and process technology. Printed on our own Heron high-temperature printers, post-processed in house.
PEEK
Service temperature up to approx. 250 °C
A top-class high-performance polymer: continuous use up to ~250 °C, excellent chemical and flame resistance. Requires a high-temperature printer.
PEEK-CF
CFService temperature up to approx. 250 °C
Carbon reinforced PEEK: the highest stiffness and strength among FDM materials with continuous use up to ~250 °C. A metal replacement in lightweight construction.
PEEK-GF
GFService temperature up to approx. 250 °C
Glass fibre reinforced PEEK: high dimensional stability and stiffness with continuous use up to ~250 °C, electrically insulating (unlike CF).
PEKK
Service temperature up to approx. 250 °C
Related to PEEK, but with slower crystallisation and a lower processing temperature, which tends to make it somewhat easier to print.
PPS-CF
CFService temperature up to approx. 220 °C
Carbon reinforced PPS: high stiffness and dimensional stability combined with excellent chemical and temperature resistance.
PPS-GF
GFService temperature up to approx. 220 °C
Glass fibre reinforced PPS: dimensionally stable, stiff and electrically insulating with outstanding chemical and temperature resistance.
PPS
Service temperature up to approx. 210 °C
A semi-crystalline high-performance polymer with outstanding chemical and flame resistance, usable continuously up to ~200 °C.
PEI (ULTEM)
Service temperature up to approx. 200 °C
An amorphous high-performance polymer with a high continuous service temperature, inherent flame retardancy and aviation approval (FST). More dimensionally stable than semi-crystalline PEEK.
PEI-CF
CFService temperature up to approx. 190 °C
Carbon reinforced PEI: combines high heat deflection resistance and flame retardancy with increased stiffness. For demanding aviation structural parts.
PPSU
Service temperature up to approx. 185 °C
An amorphous sulfone polymer with excellent toughness and steam sterilisability, established in medical technology and hot water applications.
PSU
Service temperature up to approx. 165 °C
An amorphous sulfone polymer, available transparent and sterilisable. Heat resistant up to ~165 °C, popular in medical and food technology.
Engineering plastics
Proven engineering plastics such as ABS, polyamide, polycarbonate and polypropylene, carbon or glass fibre reinforced on request. The basis for functional components, tools and fixtures.
PC-CF
CFService temperature up to approx. 135 °C
Carbon reinforced polycarbonate: high stiffness, strength and heat deflection resistance. A powerful engineering structural material.
PA6-CF
CFService temperature up to approx. 130 °C
Carbon reinforced PA6: high stiffness and strength at low weight with increased heat deflection resistance. A workhorse for structural parts.
PC-GF
GFService temperature up to approx. 130 °C
Glass fibre reinforced PC: high dimensional stability and heat deflection resistance with good strength. An alternative to PC-CF with a lighter look.
PC
Service temperature up to approx. 125 °C
Very impact resistant and heat resistant, optionally transparent. Demanding to print (high temperatures, warping, hygroscopic).
PA12-CF
CFService temperature up to approx. 120 °C
Carbon reinforced PA12: light, dimensionally stable and stiff with lower moisture absorption than PA6-CF. Good for precise structural parts.
PA6-GF
GFService temperature up to approx. 120 °C
Glass fibre reinforced PA6: high dimensional stability and stiffness, good heat deflection resistance. Somewhat tougher than CF at higher weight.
PA12
Service temperature up to approx. 110 °C
A polyamide with lower moisture absorption than PA6, therefore more dimensionally stable and easier to process. Tough and chemically resistant.
PA6
Service temperature up to approx. 110 °C
A tough, abrasion-resistant engineering plastic with good chemical resistance. Strongly hygroscopic: drying is mandatory.
PP-CF
CFService temperature up to approx. 110 °C
Carbon reinforced PP: considerably stiffer and more dimensionally stable than unfilled PP at low weight and with excellent chemical resistance.
PP-GF
GFService temperature up to approx. 110 °C
Glass fibre reinforced PP: high stiffness and dimensional stability with good chemical resistance. For robust, lightweight functional parts.
PP
Service temperature up to approx. 100 °C
Very resistant to chemicals and fatigue, light and tough with living hinges. Difficult bed adhesion and high warping.
ABS-CF
CFService temperature up to approx. 95 °C
Carbon reinforced ABS: stiffer and more dimensionally stable with reduced warping, matt finish. For robust technical parts.
ASA
Service temperature up to approx. 95 °C
Similar to ABS, but considerably more UV and weather resistant. The first choice for durable outdoor applications.
ABS
Service temperature up to approx. 90 °C
A classic engineering plastic: more heat resistant and tougher than PLA/PETG, easy to post-process (acetone). Prone to warping.
TPU
Service temperature up to approx. 80 °C
A flexible, abrasion-resistant elastomer material (Shore 85A to 95A) with extremely high elongation. Ideal for seals, dampers and flexible parts.
Standard plastics
We also print PLA and PETG for prototypes and display models. For functional components we usually recommend one of the two classes above.
PETG-CFService temperature up to approx. 75 °C
PETG-GFService temperature up to approx. 75 °C
PETGService temperature up to approx. 70 °C
PLA-CFService temperature up to approx. 55 °C
